Griff Owens, Head of BD at 4K

Griffin is the Head of Business Development at 4K Protocol ( 4K Protocol is building infrastructure that enables anyone to bring physical assets on-chain and to transform real-world items into physically-backed NFTs. 4K’s initial target market is collectibles, from watches, to wines, to coins.

4K is laying the groundwork for a new Web 3 primitive – a decentralized coordination layer for the physical world, letting physical assets interact with the blockchain in a trustless and permissionless manner. 4K has raised $3M from several of the world’s top blockchain VCs (Electric Capital, Idea CoLab, Crosscut VC, and more) and angel investors.

Prior to 4K, in 2018-2019, Griffin was a business development manager and co-founder of GovernX, an early-stage governance project incubated within ConsenSys. He worked alongside some of Ethereum’s earliest developers, creating core infrastructure tools related to voting, delegating tokens, and participation within native crypto networks.
