Mattereum has joined the Sweetbridge Alliance, a non-profit group of companies based in Switzerland and collaborating to build a new supply chain eco-system built on blockchain technologies.
Mattereum Co-Founders Vinay Gupta and Rob Knight will join Sweetbridge’s Advisory Group and offer guidance on cryptography, technical development and business scaling in the blockchain space. Sweetbridge is building a global liquid value network of alliance partners who will use blockchain to solve key isues of liquidity and resource under-utilisation.
Rob Knight, Co-Founder of Mattereum, said, “Of all the teams we’ve seen in the blockchain space, Sweetbridge is perhaps the most exciting. They bring deep expertise in supply chains with their founding team having previously created or managed large-scale supply chain businesses.”
Sweetbridge is a great fit with Mattereum. Mattereum's legally enforceable smart contract technology can integrate with Sweetbridge’s ‘asset vault’, allowing users to gain liquidity from otherwise illiquid assets. This is the first of a number of partnerships that the company expects to announce in the coming months with an emphasis on working with other blockchain startups that can use Mattereum technology to create new commercial opportunities.
